First London City Swim on 22 September 2017 at 4pm

Registration for the first London City Swim will start now!

The London City Swim will take place on September 22, 2017 in the Royal Victoria Docks. Prepare yourself and your colleagues, friends and family to jump in and raise money and awareness for the devastating disease MND.

The London City Swim Foundation is delighted to announce the first London City Swim will take place in Royal Victoria Docks on Friday 22nd September 2017, in support of motor neurone disease research.

The London City Swim, is the latest in a series of City swims organised to raise awareness and funds for MND. The Amsterdam City Swim has been taking place every September since 2012 and now attracts over 2500 swimmers. The first New Amsterdam City Swim took place in the Hudson River, New York in 2015

The swim will take place in the late afternoon and evening, and will consist of teams and individuals swimming a 500m course in the docks.

There will be a spectator area, with food and entertainment, so plenty of room for supporters to watch the swimmers compete.

All funds raised will be donated to MND Association and Stephen Hawking Foundations, and will be allocated specifically to Project MinE, a genetic project researching the risk factors that can lead to MND.
