We are aiming to raise £100,000 from 500 participants in the first ever London City Swim, to support Motor Neurone Disease research.
Your registration fee, along with the generous donations from our sponsors, goes towards the running of the event. All sponsorship raised on top of the registration fee, and any excess from the registration fees, will go directly to the charities.
100% of all sponsorship will be donated to MND Association and Stephen Hawking Foundation. The two charities have agreed to support one project called Project MinE for international genetic research on MND. Every £1450 raised will allow a DNA sample to be analysed, helping to give vital understanding as to why MND develops and speeding the search for effective new treatments.
