After careful consideration, we have taken the decision to establish the London City Swim as a biennial event. Circumstances beyond our control mean we have not been able to secure the safe venue of choice for London City Swim 2019. We will therefore not be holding the swim this year but plan to make 2020 our biggest event yet. Doing this will enable us to raise more awareness about the swim, our partner charities and the fight against MND itself. We plan to expand the LCS family by welcoming new corporate sponsors, recruit more swimmers than ever before and raise more money for our partner charities.

We are delighted with the interest and take-up we have seen across the City so far this year, and will build on this momentum for 2020. We have a brilliant team in place already, working hard to ensure London City Swim 2020 will be a huge success, and we have the full support of our charity partners in doing so.

Meanwhile, if you are looking to experience an open water swim whilst raising money to help the fight against MND, why not take a look at our sister events in Amsterdam or Prague?

We wish you a good end to the summer and hope to see you in 2020!
