Do you have a question about London City Swim?

Please check the FAQs to see if the answer to your question is here. If not please contact us by email at enquiries@londoncityswim.com

  • What time does the swim start?

The first wave will take place at 4pm.

  • How warm will the water be?

We expect the water to be between 17 and 20 degrees C at the end of September

  • Do I have to wear a wetsuit?

Wetsuits are not compulsory. The water is currently around 17 degrees, and may get a little cooler. If you are not acclimatised to swimming in cold water without a wetsuit, we recommend that you wear one.

If you wish to hire a wetsuit, we have an arrangement with a wetsuit supplier who will be supplying Orca open water suits, at a reduced rate of £10 /wk, £5 on the day rate (booked in advance).

Please contact Jason Blood -  j.blood@me.com /  07972 266261 to make bookings, quoting London City Swim.

  • Where can I find detailed information about the London City Swim?

The Swimmers' Information Pack is available to download here.

Everything you need to know about the event should be covered, however if you think of anything else, please email enquiries@londoncityswim.com

  • Can I bring spectators to support my swim?

Spectators are very much encouraged to come and watch the London City Swim.

To access the designated After Party area within the swim village, supporters will be required to donate £20 (100% to Project MinE) and will be provided a wristband allowing access to the designated areas within the swim village (all food and drink included).

  • I don't have a towfloat, does this matter?

All swimmers will be required to use a towfloat. Our partners Swim Secure are supplying towfloats for use on the day. These will be supplied to all swimmers, and must be returned after use.
